We have spoken with the Park Supervisor on the conditions of the fields for the scheduled Jan 5th games and it was determined that the fields should not be used this weekend by KLOR.
We will revisit the status of the fields with the Supervisor for 1/12 as the upcoming week progresses; as the forecast for 1/12 also appears unseasonably warm at this point.

As such, all kickball games for Sat, 1/5/19 have been postponed. These games will be rescheduled shortly across another Saturday (preferably one with more snow).

As noted in the Registration notes, the ground/fields must typically be frozen and or snow covered to allow play. Playing on soft, wet, or muddy fields will deteriorate the integrity of the ground, but also opening up the possibility of creating dangerous footprint-like craters later on in the season when the ground freezes.

The good news - As team spots for winterball were capped at a limited number of teams, make-up games can be easily piggy-backed and made-up within a single Saturday in the form of a double header (as opposed to across two weeks in years past). This will extend games into the 2:30pm time slot on makeup days. 

Team hat pickup will be rescheduled for Sat, Jan 12th at the fields (in the parking lot before your first scheduled game).
