UPDATE 8/17/18:
We have looked at the possibility of fairly getting in all postponed Classic and Vintage games originally scheduled on 8/14.

To accomplish this, we would need more referees than we would have availability for and we would need additional fields that currently do not exist.

A postponement of this size would typically take place over the course of a minimum of 2 weeks. If this postponement were to take place earlier in the summer; we would have had the option to utilize three time slots; 6:15pm, 7:15pm, & 8;15pm, but with significantly less daylight (currently losing 10min/week) this is no longer feasible.

As such, and per our policies, we will move forward with the 8/21 schedule as planned. Classic will have their final regular season game as scheduled and Vintage will proceed into playoffs with the 7 game standings.

Original Post (8/14/18):
No Kickball Games will take place on Tues, 8/14/2018. With the steady and heavy down pouring rains both overnight and though the early afternoon today (Tues 8/14). The parks and playing areas have had insufficient time to both drain and recover. All games are being called off for Tues, 8/14 to preserve the integrity of the fields. 

In lieu of games we recommend that all teams still support their social sponsors; as there seems to be a window of non-rain approaching for the early evening.

So what's the plan for Tuesdays?

Per league policies, and at this point in the season, Vintage teams are likely to move forward with playoffs as scheduled. In that case, Vintage seeds/standings will be finalized shortly. As a concession for teams not making playoffs, we are investigating the possibility of scheduling fun games for those handful of Vintage teams who did not make playoffs; as field availability and daylight permits. 

We are looking at the possibilities of Classic make-ups (double headers) during the final week as field availability and daylight permits. Please be aware that changes may occur to times and locations of Classic games scheduled for Tues 8/21. Stay tuned for further updates.
