As noted during the Fall 2017 Captain's Meeting, KLOR is planning to change up its winter kickball offering. The current plan (subject to change) is to organize pickup games when the weather forecast looks promising.
Remember, this is outdoors, yes, we (prefer to) play in and when there's snow. So right now we're just looking for you to submit your interest.
ALL PLAYERS who are interested (not just the captain) should submit their contact info if they would like to play kickball this upcoming winter. If you previously had a KLOR winterball team, and they want to play - they should all identify themselves.
THE CURRENT PLAN:
When the 7-day forecast looks promising, Matt or Ryan will send out an e-mail blast to all those interested of upcoming the upcoming intended Pick-Up game day.
By mid-week, we'd need some tentative numbers to plan where/how many fields to shovel, etc.
By end-week, we'll layout the plan/schedule/teams for that Saturday's games.
On game day, you show up, and have a blast with all your winter kickball buddies, or you'll get to make some new ones.
This is wide open to everyone - full teams, single players, small groups. Need help making a team? We can figure it out that week - or show up and we'll place ya. It'll be a big winter kickball party in the snow. The more snow we get - will likely lead to more games.
We'll formalize this more based on your interest. We've been organizing winter kickball for 9 years in a row, and it's honestly one of, if not the most fun seasons.
Your provided contact info will only be used by KLOR representatives (Ryan & Matt) for the sole purpose of updating you about kickball this upcoming winter.
