2014 TEN UGLY MEN FESTIVAL - KICKBALL TOURNAMENT 
 
TEN UGLY MEN TOURNAMENT (SAT, JULY 26TH) REGISTRATION NOTES:
 
Tournament Registration opens at 12:00pm on Tuesday, July 1st through Wed, July 9th @ 8:00pm (or until full).  
 
Format:
Double Elimination - You are guaranteed to complete 2 games. Once you lose twice you are out of the tournament. After your first loss, you will drop to the lower bracket. The winners of the lower bracket and the upper bracket will reconvene at the end to determine the tournament champion. Following standard playoff rules, teams are required to field a minimum of 3 females per game. The Tournament is limited to a maximum of 16 teams. Tournament Schedule and Seeds(if necessary) will be randomized.
 
Bonus Entry:
Teams who lose their 1st & 2nd games at the start of the tournament will get automatic entry into Super Kickball; a separate-all day kickball game in which players can kick until they get "out" and field up until the last 12 players on each side are determined. Game length: Each game will last for a total of 5 completed innings. The two team captains will face off in a best of 3 RPS (Rock, Paper, Scissors) Challenge to determine the HOME and AWAY teams at the start of each game. The winner will be the HOME team for that game. If the Home team leads in the middle of the 5th inning, the game will be over. If there is a Tie at the end of the 5th inning, teams will refer to the 2014 KLOR Rules regarding challenges for a final point to determine a winner. Due to time constraints, there will be no extra or overtime innings in the tournament - with the exception of the games(s) involving the final two tournament teams.

Team Color:
Shirts colors were chosen by the captain on a first-come basis. 
 
Registration:
The per player cost of the tournament is $35. The team captain for the tournament will register the team with a minimum deposit (which covers their individual contribution) of $35. The team captain will then receive e-mail links to the team portal where they can submit their full team t-shirt order. The team portal link should be forwarded to the team's players. As all teams are required to fill a roster of (10) players, the remaining per player balance of $315 for the other (9) players will automatically be added to team balance upon registration. The team players can make their individual payment of $35 within this portal. Each player is REQUIRED to sign the online waiver for the team. This waiver will also act as the official player roster for the tournament. $35 for each additional player will automatically be added to the balance when the total roster count is greater than (10) players. The team t-shirt order will be due July 10th by 8:00pm. We would like to place the order for all of the t-shirts the following morning, so production can begin that weekend. T-Shirt orders will be for a maximum of (10) shirts, increased only by your total number of waiver signatures. 
 
Your $35 player cost includes:
 
  • A minimum of (2) games.
  • Lined game fields; complete with referees, bases, cones and our standard 8.5in kickball. 
  • 1 Team T-shirt (per player)
  • Trophy for championship team.
  • Entrance fee into the Ten Ugly Men Festival including
    • (5) drink tickets & "Ugly Mug"
    • Unlimited food, soda, & bottled water.
    • Live music
    • Slip-n-slide
    • Fun with all your friends

Logistics and Information for the Captain Check-In Meeting will be available shortly. 

Tournament will begin as early as 8:30am on Saturday, July 26th.
 
FREE festival parking is located at the University of Rochester lot. Players will be unable to park within the park.
