Spring 2012 Teams & Players raise $3,850 for SPCC

Kickball players capped off another successful spring season with a $3,850 donation to the Socity for the Protection and Care of Children. 

178 teams participated in the spring kickball season. $10 from every team registered, bundled with prize raffles, and t-shirt sponsorship donations helped make the donation a success.

The highly anticipated spring season sold out in just under 48 hours. With a team waiting list almost 30 teams long, the league was able to secure additional fields to help push the anticipated donation to the next level. The additional fields were a blessing for those teams waiting in the wings, as the typically wet fields were anything but; due to the mild winter.

Matt Miller, the Director of Media Operations for the league, presented the check this morning to Lisa and Ashley at the SPCC.
